When looking for an SEO company, ask them how they will get your site in the top ten if they mention link building, increasing your page rank, adding more keywords to your content or adding keywords to your META tags. These methods will get your site banned or penalized, which will cost you a lot of money and time to fix, as the SEO company will be long gone by then.
